Wanted to try the hog jowls but that wasn’t on today’s menu. Had chicken and fish dishes instead. Nice garden patio and friendly and helpful staff. Good red wine but it’s the only red they have. That’s not unusual since the area is known for Riesling. No English menu but the staff will tell you each item in English. Only about 30 minutes from Mainz. Worth the drive.

Very good food. Competent operation. Very nice atmosphere, in summer also nice to sit outside.

Unfortunately, a bit disappointing. Quality, of course, has its price, but to ask for a lamb's lettuce with (cold) sheep's cheese over 10 €, is very violent. Unfortunately, we were not really satisfied with 8 people and then went out to eat again. For an invoice of 185 €, you could expect to be satisfied. In addition, the service was not very friendly. Each time sarcastic sayings came when the waiters came from other tables. However, to call positive is that you can sit here nicely.

With Kruger hull you feel comfortable. Nice service, really excellent wines and dishes of very good quality as well as a creative chef. You can sit in the garden when the weather is nice. Sufficient parking spaces available.

Bourgeois wine bar with lovingly prepared dishes; very attentive professional service; the in-house open wines are excellent, nevertheless inexpensive, but unfortunately sometimes a little too young. Bottled wines are also more mature.

Mind blowing and sensational wine for such affordable price

We lived in Frankfurt am Main until four years ago, and now we are vacationing here on the Nahe. Yesterday we ate there. That was very good as always, the wines are of course very excellent. The owners are extremely friendly and courteous. The prices explain them by themselves, quality has its price. The ambiance is quite extraordinary, which of course is largely due to the old villa in Italian style and the beautiful inner courtyard, but also due to the very tasteful decor.
